In our branch libraries in Munich, Garching, Straubing, and Weihenstephan, we provide a range of study spaces, including areas for quiet, individual , as well as group study rooms for collaborative work. Online booking is available for TUM students and staff members.

Study Spaces

• Group Study Rooms – online booking available for TUM students only

• Study Desks – online booking available at the Branch Libraries Sport & Health Sciences or at the Main Campus

• Carrels (individual study booths) – reservation requests via webform

Terms of Use

Before making a booking, kindly review the specific terms of use for our study spaces:

Moreover, all library users are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:

✅ Jackets and bags permitted (except for bulky items)
✅ Beverages in tightly sealable containers allowed
❌ No food or alcohol consumption
❌ Don't hold a spot if absent for over 60 minutes
❌ Avoid phone calls, loud talks, or disruptive behavior
