The goal

In this workshop, participants will learn valuable strategies for effective time- and self-management. By setting priorities and reevaluating personal goals, attendees will be equipped to make the most of their time and personal resources. Through discussions and activities, individuals will gain insights into achieving a better work-life-balance, en-hancing mental wellbeing, and ultimately maximizing productivity and success in academ-ic and personal endeavors.

How can I manage my time and myself effectively?
What strategies can help me make the best use of my time - while also feeling good?
How can I set appropriate priorities and stick to my plans?
What personal resources can I draw on to work more efficiently and improve my work-life-balance?

The implementation

In this seminar, you will receive an overview of the most important psychological theories on the topic of intercultural leadership and cooperation. The focus is on the application of classic leadership principles in an international context and dealing with intercultural differences. You will learn about helpful tools for practice and also have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants in a practical discussion in order to benefit from each other's experiences.

Instructor

Dr. Silvana Weber is a research associate, trainer, and consultant at the LMU Center for Leadership and People Management. As a trained systemic consultant and therapist, she is responsible for the professional management of coaching and consulting. She studied psychology at the University of Göttingen and UC Berkeley, received her doctorate from the University of Koblenz-Landau (2016), and habilitated at the University of Würzburg (2026). In addition to her academic work—including as a visiting professor of social psychology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (2020/21)—she is particularly passionate about science communication and is co-editor of In-Mind magazine.
